introduction

my name is chelsea royse. i'm 22, and a photojournalism major. i'm really excited about this class, i think it could be really interesting. i love pop culture, and tv/movies/music. for a while, i wanted to be a tv critic, but it seems like such a narrow path, and would be hard to break into. but that is the dream job. i do love television, and i think this class will help me look at the media in a more critical way, and not just as a form of escapism and entertainment.

i'll post my thoughts on our first class tomorrow or tuesday. :)
